Dr. Kirk Sears, DVM, DACVIM

Dr. Sears is a small animal internal medicine specialist that provides specialty diagnostics and consultation for patients upon his colleagues’ request. He received his doctorate from the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine and subsequently became board-certified in small animal internal medicine after completing a 3-year residency at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. As a native Texan born in Amarillo and raised in Lubbock, he is the only full-time veterinary specialist in the Panhandle and West Texas regions. He and his wife are the founders and owners of West Texas Veterinary Specialists (txvetspecialty.com). When not working, they enjoy chasing their three sons around and attempting to steward this life with which they have been graciously blessed.
