Swann Animal Clinic Pet Specialty Services & Diagnostics
Swann Animal Clinic is dedicated to providing the best possible care to your pets. This is one of several reasons we partner with specialty veterinary professionals. Current specialty offerings include soft-tissue/orthopedic surgery, advanced imaging, and internal medicine.
We understand how important your pet is for you, that’s why we’ll give them the care that they deserve.
Veterinary Specialty Surgery
Partnering with our specialist team allows us to provide you and your pets with the best possible medicine on a local level. Often when our patients require the intervention of a specialist, this requires long-distance traveling to areas like Denver, Oklahoma City, and the Dallas Metroplex. By bringing the specialist to you at scheduled intervals, your pets receive optimal care from the best. If your pet needs a specialized procedure or treatment, please schedule an appointment with one of our veterinarians. We will coordinate on your behalf with the right specialist for your pet.
Veterinary Specialty Imaging & Diagnostics
All of our locations offer the latest technology in diagnostic imaging. Our digital radiographs allow us to obtain diagnostic images of your pet in seconds. Our doctors will be able to show and explain the images to you in your private exam room. This also allows us to consult with board-certified specialists in cases that require special treatments. Ultrasound technology gives our doctors the opportunity to see more detailed images of your pet’s internal organs. We have a certified ultrasonographer on staff to perform abdominal ultrasounds and pregnancy checks. All ultrasounds are referred to a board-certified radiologist for interpretation within 24 to 48 hours. We work closely with a boarded clinician from Lubbock who is able to perform echocardiograms and endoscopy. This allows us to collect biopsies and direct treatment protocols. Dental radiographs allow our doctors to see what is happening below your pet’s gumline. Broken tooth roots, root abscesses, and fractures are just a few of the issues that are found with this diagnostic tool.
