meals & feeding

  • We encourage you to bring your pets’ current diet for
us to feed to prevent digestive upset.
  • Please pre-measure and pre-package dry food in
individual Ziploc bags (or containers), label each meal (breakfast, lunch, or dinner) to ensure you have provided enough food for your pet’s stay.
  • We also suggest packing some “extra” if you
encounter any delays in your return.
  • If you do not bring your pet’s food, we are happy to
serve Hills 1/0 low-fat diet during your pet’s stay (an additional cost of $2 per meal).

Please let us know if your pet has any dietary
restrictions.

MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION

  • If your pet receives medication (including insulin),
please bring it with your pet in its prescribed container with all appropriate supplies. This includes items such as syringes or pill pockets.
  • Medications are administered at $1.50 per
    administration.

PERSONAL BELONGINGS

  • Bedding and Bowls are provided: If you find your
pet does better (or needs a specific kind) of their bedding, bowls, toys, or a shirt that smells like you, you’re welcome to bring it along. We are not responsible for any damages your pet makes to these items, if any, while boarding.
  • Leash and Collar/Harness: Please bring your pet in

FAQs

age requirements
All guests are welcome who are vaccinated appropriately.
size & playgroups

Playgroups are designed on many different factors. Simply putting dogs together of similar sizes can be dangerous. Play groups are designed to maximize the enjoyment of the dogs participating in them, for optimal safety, personality, and play style. For example: Two golden retrievers may not play well together just because they are the same size and breed. One may like playing with dogs who are more interested in sniffing around and exploring, while the other may want to tackle and tumble play. These two dogs would grow annoyed with each other over time, leading to unfulfilling play. However, put with the right “friends,” both dogs will get the maximum enjoyment out of their day.

spa services & add-ons

Sidekicks is proud to offer full-service grooming seven days a week! We are happy to accommodate spa services during your pet’s stay or play with us.

“MYSTERIOUS” CANINE RESPIRATORY DISEASE

It’s difficult to look at social media recently or turn on the news without seeing something about the new “mysterious and deadly” canine upper respiratory disease that is sweeping the nation. I won’t lie. It caught my attention too! That’s a scary title! Living in the aftermath of COVID, I think we, as a nation, are a little more sensitive to titles like that. It’s understandable. I am going to attempt to share some clarity, give a little insight, and hopefully, settle some nerves.
