Pet Surgery

In all surgeries, your medical team takes great care in monitoring your pet’s heartbeat, blood pressure, oxygen level, fluid therapy, and his or her post-operative comfort and clinical care through recovery. We use only the safest available anesthesia to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. Post-operative care includes appropriate pain management and lots of TLC. We understand that your pet is a family member and that separation from him or her may be stressful. Be assured that the entire Swann Animal Clinic team involved with your companion’s medical treatment is committed to sensitive, compassionate care of your pet until discharge.
