Dr. Chelsea Friemel

Dr. Chelsea Friemel works in our Plum Creek location. She excitedly joined Swann Animal Clinic in June 2018. She grew up on a farm in the Texas Panhandle, where she developed her passion for caring for animals. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in animal science from Texas A&M University and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State University. Her veterinary interests include canine/feline wellness, dermatology, dentistry, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery.

Dr. Friemel and her husband Brett enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling to new places, and all things outdoors, especially when working on the farm. Together they take care of their herd of pets, including an Australian Shepherd (Chance), a Goldendoodle (Lottie), two horses (Remi and Renada), a cow (Reba), and a donkey (Carl). Dr. Friemel looks forward to serving the Amarillo community, building relationships with clients, and caring for the pets they call family.
