Dr. Troppy's Bio
Dr. Katrina Troppy works out of both our 45th & Hillside locations and joined our practice in July of 2020. Dr. Troppy is originally from McAllen, TX, and spent most of her childhood on a farm in Raymondville, TX. At a young age, she discovered her love for animals and knew she wanted to become a veterinarian. Dr. Troppy graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelors’s in Animal Science and a Minor in Agricultural Economics from Kansas State University in 2012. In 2019 she obtained her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State University and started as a veterinarian in a mixed animal practice in the Dallas-Fortworth Metroplex. Dr. Troppy’s veterinary interests include dermatology, internal medicine, dentistry, and parasitology. When not in the clinic, she enjoys being outdoors, trying new baking recipes, bird watching, and spending time with her very social rat terrier mix (Domino). Dr. Troppy is thrilled to be a part of an AAHA Accredited hospital practicing best medicine.
