ENRICHMENT BEHAVIOR EVALUATION: All dogs must pass a Temperament Evaluation prior to acceptance into the Enrichment Program. Enrichment participants must be able to get along well with humans as well as other dogs. In the event that a dog does not pass the temperament evaluation, we will recommend training classes to help the dog become more social and reevaluate after the completion of the classes. *If a previously evaluated dog has not participated in our Enrichment Program within the last 6 months, it will be necessary for the dog to be reevaluated to determine which playgroup it is best suited for its temperament and activity level. *

AGGRESSION & PLAY: The Sidekicks Stay & Play staff will never knowingly accept any obviously aggressive dogs into our program. In order to maintain a safe and fun environment, participants are expected to maintain a degree of “playgroup etiquette”. Our staff act as a “referee” by enforcing certain rules such as no jumping, fighting, and etcetera with a kind but firm demeanor. Dogs can be unpredictable and sometimes act out of character by demonstrating aggression or nonsocial behavior towards staff or other participants. When this happens, the offender may be in a time-out. Time out consists of the dog being put in an area by themselves for approximately five minutes to allow them to settle down. If the behavior becomes consistent, the dog may be suspended from the program until aggression issues have been addressed and resolved. After counseling and/or additional training, dogs may be reevaluated; however, if the participant again begins to demonstrate unacceptable behavior they may be permanently expelled from the program. Playgroups are determined by our trained staff and are based on the size, temperament, and activity level of each individual participant. *

BOARDING & ENRICHMENT HEALTH REQUIREMENTS: All dogs participating in the program must be spayed or neutered by the age of 6 months. *Large breed dogs who benefit from delayed spaying/neutering will be not be allowed in group sessions, but are able to participate in our day boarding program *

PERSONAL BELONGINGS: Participants must wear a flat collar with identification and be leash trained. For the safety of our participants, we ask that all pets arrive and depart on a leash. While every effort is made to take good care of your pet’s belongings. Sidekicks Stay & Play is not responsible for damage to your pet’s personal items such as bedding, harness, sweaters, etc. *

RESERVATIONS & CANCELLATIONS: Reservations and cancellations require a 24-hour notice. *Reservations and prepayment is required to participate in the Monthly Packages. Reservations canceled with less than 24 hours notice will not be refunded or rolled over to additional months. *

PICK UP & DROP-OFF (BOARDING): General check-in is from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM Monday - Friday. General pick-up is from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Monday-Friday and Sunday. If you have another time you would like to pick up or drop off, please communicate with our team and we will make every reasonable effort to accommodate your schedule. *

HOLIDAYS: Sidekicks Stay & Play observes the following Holidays: New Years’ Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. We will be closed these days, but any pets boarding during these holidays will still receive care. *

MEDIA RELEASE: Enrichment participants may be photographed and/or videotaped without compensation during their playgroup sessions. The use of this media is limited to and may appear on Sidekicks Stay & Play’s website, social media, training, and/or marketing materials. *

LIABILITY AGREEMENTS: Sidekicks Stay & Play strives to keep our facility clean and sanitary and uses all reasonable precautions to prevent injury, illnesses, and/or escape. Under no circumstances will Sidekicks Stay & Play be responsible for the actions of the pet or others in the playgroup that may cause injury, illness, or escape. Each pet owner accepts full financial responsibility for his or her own pet’s veterinary services resulting from any injuries and/or illness contracted while their pet participated in our enrichment, boarding, or spa services. If a pet should become ill, injured, or in need of medical attention while in our care, Sidekicks Stay & Play reserves the right to administer aid and stabilize the pet at Swann Animal Clinic until the owner and/or emergency contact can be reached. Any expenses incurred will be the responsibility of the owner. You or the emergency contact(s) are the only ones allowed to visit or make medical decisions for your pet. Neighbors, friends, and family are will not be permitted to visit your pet while you are away under any circumstances unless listed on the account. Some dogs may be exhausted or experience sore muscles after a full day of play, especially when first starting enrichment and group play. This is normal and usually fades over time as they adjust to the level of activity and learn to take breaks. *

By checking each section above and signing below you indicate your agreement with all the terms and conditions hereof and in addition, release Sidekicks Stay & Play and Swann Animal Clinic, its agents, officers, subcontractors, employees, clients, and potential clients from any and all liability for injuries to yourself, your pet, and any other property of yours. You understand there are certain risks involved with pet ownership, training, and care, including but not limited to fights, bites, and transmission of disease. By signing below you also acknowledge and accept full responsibility for these and all other risks and release Sidekicks Stay & Play and Swann Animal Clinic its agents, officers, subcontractors, employees, clients, and potential clients from any injures and or illness that may occur. This agreement covers the current relationship between Sidekicks Stay & Play and yourself. Each time you bring any pets to Sidekicks Stay & Play you affirm the terms of this agreement and the truthfulness and accuracy of all statements you make in this agreement. *
